शिक्षक प्रमुखको लापारवाहीको कारण बेहाल अवस्थामा चम्पामाया प्रथमिक पाठशाला

पहाड़को प्रथमिक पाठशालाहरु एका एक बन्द हुनुमा सरकार पक्ष दोषी छ कि शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाहरुको लापारवाही? किन दार्जीलिङ पहाड़को शैक्षिक स्तर दिनोदिन खस्किन्दै गइरहेको छ? प्रथमिक शिक्षा बाल-बालिकाहरुको निम्ति महत्तवपूर्ण हुँदा-हुँदै पनि किन आजसम्म पहाड़को शिक्षा व्यवस्थामा सुधार आउन सकिरहेको छैन?

राजनीति गर्दिनँ भन्नु पनि अर्को राजनीति होः हर्कबहादुर छेत्री

मेरो अधिकारक्षेत्रभित्र पाँच बर्षको लागि जनताको हितको काम गर् भनेर मलाई भोट हालेको हो नि। मलाई थाहा छ यसले जनताको धेरै हित हुन्छ। यसले जनताको हितसँगै पार्टीको पनि हित हुन्छ, आन्दोलनलाई पनि सहयोग पुर्‍याउँछ भनेपछि एकदम निसंकोच भनेर अघि बढ्न सक्छु म। म त्यही काम गर्दैछु।

‘समयले मानिसलाई कहाँ कहाँ पुर्‍याउँछ,,,,,,’ कुनै समय रेडियो नेपालबाट बजिरहने यो चर्चित गीतले मान्छेको जीवनमा प्रणयसम्बन्धको आरोह अवरोहले पार्ने प्रभावलाई सुन्दर ढंगले व्याख्या गरेको छ। यो लोकप्रिय गीतको यही एक हरफ कुनै राजनीतिकर्मीको जीवनसँग गाँसेर हेर्दा के उत्तर पाइएला?

80 को दशकमा देशभरिका गोर्खाहरूलाई जातित्वको भावना उत्पन्न गराउने प्रथम नेता सुवास घिसिङको निधनले अहिले घड़ी सम्पूर्ण दार्जीलिङ पहाड़ नै स्तब्ध बनेको छ। गोर्खाहरूका हित अनि अस्तित्वका निम्ति छुट्टै राज्यको बहस लिएर सुवास धिसिङले त्यसताक पहाड़का प्रत्येक गाँऊहरूको भ्रमण गरेका थिए। 22 जुन 1936 सालमा मिरिकको मञ्जु चियाबगानमा जन्म लिएरका सुवास घिसिङले आफ्नो तर्क राख्न एकलै जनसभा गर्थे। घिसिङले सम्पूर्ण गोर्खाहरूलाई एकै शुत्रमा बाँध्न "गोर्खाल्याण्ड" शब्दको जन्म गरेका थिए।

“बजट सत्रमा के कुराहरू उठान गर्नु पर्ने भन्नेबारे हामीले जीटीएबाट कहिले फिडब्याक पाएका छैनौं” डा छेत्रीले भने। डा हर्कबहादुर छेत्री मोर्चाका प्रवक्ता हुन् अनि कालेबुङका जनप्रतिनिधि। दुइवटा महत्वपूर्ण पदमा बसेका डा छेत्रीलाई अहिलेसम्म जीटीएको बैठकमा निम्ताइएको छैन, पार्टीको राजनैतिक लाइनबारे उनीसँग चर्चा र छलफल नगरिएको त झन कति भयो, उनैलाई हेक्का छैन।

Due to the close connection ,relation between department and contractor many new developmental activities facility is not provide to the local residents of Rangpo .in march 2009 water security and public health engineering department government of Sikkim has awarded the work to one of the contractor named u Narayan Sharma to construct and setting up the sewerage facilities including STP at Rangpo bazaar town and surrounding at an cost of two crore three lakh also given time to complete the work within 24 month i.e. march 2011.the residents of Rangpo was waiting for march 2011 for availing the facilitates but no any type of indication was seen to complete the work. Apart from the time bound one year past but not completed.the department has designated the two high level officers named mrs santi tamang divisional engineer and Mr. M K mohra assistant engineer for showing the works when the time is completed and work is not completed the concern authorities must take action against the contractor and responsible person who is behind not in completing the work. But no an action taken clarify that the close relation between department and contractors. such type of work procedure may caused a big questioned in the work procedure of department.

Gurung tit-for-tat denies Trinamul votes Morcha asks MLAs to boycott Assembly

Mungpoo, March 18: Bimal Gurung today directed his four party MLAs to abstain from the Rajya Sabha polls and boycott the Assembly until Gorkha-dominated mouzas in the plains were included in the new hill set-up, casting a cloud on the election prospects of the Trinamul’s fourth candidate for the Upper House.

But Trinamul is hoping that not all four Morcha MLAs will skip the polls and, since 10 more days are left for the Upper House elections, the party is banking on a mind change.

The Gurung-led Gorkha Janmukti Morcha has three MLAs from the hills while the fourth is a party-backed Independent from the Dooars.

Gurung told party supporters and representatives from the Dooars and Terai that elections to the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration would not be accepted unless its territorial jurisdiction was settled.

The Morcha wants 398 mouzas from the plains as added territory of the GTA and a government-appointed committee is looking into the demand.

“What is the hurry to hold elections? The new government is betraying us and acting like the Left Front government. From 1952, nine hill MPs have been sent to the Rajya Sabha. But this time, the new government tried to play with our identity by not sending anyone from the hills. So, our four MLAs will abstain from voting in the Rajya Sabha,” said Gurung.

A Trinamul MLA from South 24 Parganas told The Telegraph tonight that the party does not believe that all four Morcha MLAs would refrain from voting. “We do hope that good sense would prevail on them. Besides, more than 10 days are left,” he said.

Asked if Mamata on her return to Calcutta from Delhi would appeal to the Morcha to participate in the polls, he averted the question but said: “We shall discuss the matter after she returns here.”

Today’s Morcha meeting was held in Mungpoo, 38km downhill from Darjeeling.

The election to the Rajya Sabha is scheduled for March 30 and the Morcha had asked Mamata Banerjee last week to nominate one of its candidates to the Upper House, a request that she rejected.

Gurung said the party would launch a major agitation in the plains on territory.

“We cannot forget the sacrifices made by our supporters from the plains,” said Gurung before announcing a public meeting at Nagrakata in Jalpaiguri district on April 18.

“On April 7, the MLAs along with party vice-president will start a padayatra from the hills to the Terai. During the April 18 meeting, we will announce more agitation programmes. On April 22, party leaders from the Dooars and Terai will start a padayatra to Calcutta,” he said.

Ousted Akhil Bharatiya Adivasi Vikas Parishad leader John Barla was present at the meeting with his supporters.(Telegraph)

On the occasion of Safety week campaign, Sit and draw competition for School Children were held at Rorathang JH School, Mulukey JH School and Reshi JH School on the 25 and 27 Feb. 2012 and Sit and draw competition for Employee Children were also held at Company Premises on 26.02.2012.On the 5th March 2012,National Safety Day was observed by hoisting of 41st National Safetyday flag at Golden Cross Pharma Pvt. Ltd by the hand of Unit Head Mr. Sanjay Mishra and taken the Safety Pledge in English, Hindi and Nepali Language at in front of Admin Block and all respective department through Health, Safety and Environment Department. Different types of Safety items were kept for the Exhibition In front of Admin Block on 05.03.2012.On 6th & 7thMarch 2012, Fire Fighting and Safety Training (Theoretical as well as Practical Demonstration) were held by using Different types of fire extinguishers, Nozzles, Self-contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Fire Proximity Suit.Inter Departmental Hydrant Drill Competition, Quiz competition, Open poster, Slogan, Suggestion competition and Cholta & Bolta Quiz for Contractors were held on 09 &10.03.2012. The concluding ceremony for 41ST NATIONAL SAFETY DAY /WEEK CELEBRATION 2012 was organized on 15.03 .2012 at Golden Cross Pharma Pvt. Ltd. Mr. Prem Dhoj Rai (SDM, Rongli) was graced the concluding ceremony for 41STNATIONAL SAFETY DAY /WEEK CELEBRATION 2012 as a chief Guest. The Concluding programme was started after visual observation by Chief Guest of Safety Exhibition, Poster, Slogan and Suggestion which were displayed in front of Admin Block. Prizes were distributed to the winners of Sit and draw competition for three students of each school and Employee Children and Inter Departmental Hydrant Drill Competition, Quiz competition, Open poster, Slogan, Suggestion competition and Cholta & Bolta Quiz for Contractors by the hand of Chief Guest Mr. Prem Dhoj Rai (SDM, Rongli).
