RANGPO-10TH MARCH12 Horticulture and agriculture department east Sikkim organised training and distribution programme at bhurung ward of west Pandam constituency today. According to the news Mr. j n giri deputy director horticulture Majhitar and staff along with field officer has provided special training to the farmers interested in ginger cultivation .area Panchayat and senior citizens was specially present during the programme. At the end of the programme twenty five progressive farmers was provided with eighty kg seeds of ginger total four thousand kg ginger seeds along with medicines to be needed for the protection to be needed against disease suspected to o0ccur during the cultivation. The farmers seen happy and has given special thanks to the department for such type of concept. Tomorrow the ginger distribution programme is going to be held on pachak.
