After the assurance of public health engineering department east Sikkim failed to provide drinking water in full fledged within 15th April the residents of Rangpo area seen too much unsatisfied with the department .increasing population in the area has created a big problem and scarcity of drinking water in the area .
in one side Sikkim RTI Forum has decided to go to court for making possibility for providing drinking water as the state government has already sanctioned and also has to complete the work but it is believed that due to the negligence of the department the general public has to face the problems said Mr. d k Chettri Sikkim rti forum general secretary .in other side by showing the water scarcity in the area civil defence Rangpo along with other ngos has decided to meet with the higher authorities of the department at head office Gangtok and shall submit the memorandum for taking the matter seriously.
