Environment day programme is going on in the different part of the state till after the three days .green vale academy lingmoo south Sikkim and Kabi north Sikkim has organised plantation programme and awareness programme at lingmoo and kabi north Sikkim. At lingmoo the students and teachers has organised the rally tasking placard in their hand .Mr. sanjiv Rai range officer of the forest department as a chief guest specially stressed upon the preservation of natural water resources and trees for their future ,the sapling was also planted in the programme.
programme conducted by Mr. saran tamang the green vale environment association was also formed taking two teachers named mr Ganesh rana and saran tamang along with ten students named bimal Adhikari,prerna Pradhan ,saurabh Pradhan,dipti tamang,sekhar chhetri, prayas karki.hissey doma Bhutia ,trivesh karki and sanjiv dahal.in north Sikkim too such type of programme was organised by the green vale school established at Kabi north Sikkim. Programme was attended by Mr. karma Sonam Bhutia beat officer of the forest department as a chief guest .assistant teacher komal gurung discussed the matter regarding preservation of environment and trees .the poem was also recited by pema ongmu lepcha and prerna gurung .bal bikash students under sai samiti mamring also organised such type of programme ,dr d p kharel ex minister was present as a chief guest of the progamme.between colourfull cultural programme and spiritual programme organised by bal bikas student Mrs. asha kharel Panchayat member of that area was also present .
