After the formation of Sikkim democratic front the image of west Pandam is totally changed and is in the developing area. from heritage tourism to pilgrimage tourism, industrial unites to historical railway projects .budang Gadi is announced as to develop as heritage tourism and recently 85 lakh rs is sanctioned for developing the indrakil prayag project at rangpo.after completing the indrakil prayag construction Rangpo shall be well known in the pilgrimage tourism and is believed lakhs of domestic and foreign tourist at Rangpo and Pandam area. More than twenty big industrial units is another big development for the area. Maximum employment and business has come to this place due to the industrial units. Education units have also made the image of area positive. Except this the water problem is also going to solve and 24 crores projects works is under progress. Many small and medium sector development is going on, new roads are constructing under pmgsy scheme. this area has some more dreams and demands also expect announcement in sd f day like up gradation of Rangpo secondary school into senior secondary level, school ground facility at rangpo,police outpost at duga,pandam ,Majhitar and kumrek etc.
