Programme of Brahma Kumaris on Raj Yoga

The Brahma Kumaris, Gangtok had organised programme on "How to Lead a Happy Life through Raj yoga Meditation" which was conducted by Raj yogi Suraj Bhaiji, a renowned soul who had come from the International Headquarter of the Brahma Kumaris, Mount Abu, Rajasthan. This programme was held on 28thFeburary in Development Area, where the Brahma Kumaris centre is located.This event was intended to spread Godly message to all the citizens of Sikkim. The world today is facing many difficulties in life in order to help the people around us, this programme was planned.Raj yogi Suraj Bhaiji, a thinker, speaker and a spiritual reformer led a speech on the above given topic which was beautifully presented. The Chief Guest invited for this occasion was Shri Bhim Dungyal, Hon’ble Minister of Tourism, and Government of Sikkim. Other respected guests were Sri Thuchuk Lachungpa,Former Minister and President, Self Help Group; Sri Govind Pradhan, Former Chief Secretary; Sri K.N Upreti, Former Minister, Government of Sikkim; Mrs. Subhadra Bhutia, Chairperson Women Welfare Board; including other honoured local gentries.This programme was conducted in 3 brief sessions.Firstly, a very enlightening and commendable talk on the introduction of Supreme Soul and its powers, self-realisation and how to awaken one’s hidden powers.Secondly, by brief Raj yoga Meditation which created a very powerful peaceful atmosphere and how to incorporate it in our daily life with remarkable results?Finally by question and answer session in which lot of guests shared their wonderful experiences of peace, bliss and happiness. They also cleared several questions based on the talk. The audience were quite impressed by this event and were motivated to work on it. The response of the audience during the interaction taking place let us know that this programme was a big success.The Brahma Kumaris hope that such motivating events continue in the future.
