Congress leader, supporters join TMC

The Trinamool Congress continues to increase its strength in North Bengal at the cost of rivals such as the Congress. Siliguri witnessed another Congress exodus today in the form of Phansidewa Panchayat Samiti vice chairman Prithila Lakda and more than 100 supporters joined the party ruling Bengal. Trinamool MLA Gautam Deb handed TMC flags to the new members as he welcomed them.
