Plantation drive and awareness programme was also organized at mamring south Sikkim under the supervision of mamring forest department officers and staff .participated by staff and officers of various industrial units and hydel power projects ,ngo ,club ,associations the sapling was also planted in the day .
The plantation drive was also organised at alkem limited kumrek unit .Mr. c b gurung retd block officer of forest department ,Mr. Kishore Pradhan block officer of forest department was specially present in the programme .from the unit side Mr. dewansu Rai from corporate office Mumbai ,Mr. ramakant Rai human resources senior manager was present and planted the sapling of more than three hundred .
Such type of programme was organized at naksa dhura under monsong belt kalimpong jurisdiction .self help group one and pragatisil self help group two group has specially participating in the drive has organised awareness programme and planted the saplings with the help of students of the area.
