East district colloctorate Mr. D Anandan along with his team has visited the earthquake affected area of Singtam and Rangpo. In the visit the team visited the destroyed building and structures of government and private sector. at Rangpo the team has visited mainly Rangpo tourism and Rangpo police station colony building which was badly damaged by the earthquake.mr Sonam wangdi police in charge of Rangpo police station has provide the details of the damage structures and according to the details the team has done field visit of the structure and urged to demolish the structure in favour of human life. Mr purna bahadur Chettri councillor Majhitar bagheykhola has given the details of damage caused in their area and provide details of ex gratia amount received by the victims.DC accompanied with SDM (east) Dr A B Karki, block development officer Mr. purusotam pradhan of duga,Rangpo nagar Panchayat president Mr. nirmal khati,member Mr. bikash Kumar Prasad and aita maya gurung  ,purna bahadur Chettri has visited and met with the victims also taken the relief details provide by the government. The victims seen satisfied with the relief. DC a also visited the mining secondary school and shown the class run in the temporary shed.
