After providing 38 years service in education sector in the state of Sikkim Mrs. jas Maya Rai teacher of kumrek primary school under east Sikkim retired from her duty .joined on 8^th September 1978 she has done his duty in several parts of the state and from 2^nd April 1984 she was serving her duty at kumrek primary school .mother of tika bhai prominent writer she has provide education to thousands of student in this 28 years tenure in kumrek.today the farewells programme was organised at school complex was attended by teachers students and headmasters Mr. d p sharmaa.farwell programme conducted by miss Buddha Subba was ended with thanks speech by sushma deokota.
